From fixed schedules to variations

One of the things I appreciate about working as a freelancer is the variety in my new working life. This came as a surprise for me, as I in the past had a quite regular work life and thought that was the way I worked the best.

But now and as you can see, it is quite different from week to week. Some weeks are packed with meetings and deadlines, while others are more relaxed and open.

The freedom to choose my schedule has allowed me to prioritize my mental and physical well-being, which I believe has led to a more productive and satisfying work-life overall.

The flexibility of freelancing has also given me the chance to explore unfamiliar places. I have been able to take advantage of slow travel, which has allowed me to immerse myself in another mindset and experience new ways of life.

  1. I have the same experience, Daisy! Week by week, my schedule keeps changing -some weeks are more packed and challenging, other ones are more relaxed and have more time for friends and fun. This keeps me in a good flow.
From here there is no going back to a 9-5 job. 😁

  2. Totally agree ! I adopted also a flexible schedule for my online coaching business. The main reason for me is to flow with my cycle, as few days per months I’m not able (and don’t want) to focus on the outside world. So my schedule changes every weeks and I’m satisfy and more efficient (and friendly) like this 😊

    1. I’m so lucky to have never been so affected by my cycles that it affected my work. Besides being a little moody up to it and wanting red meat during, I really notice it.
I am glad that your schedule allows you to take care of yourself.
